Poetry Essay #1
man And His Heart
afeez adasho
Man is a great warrior:
civil and cold wars,
The holy wars,
The World Wars I and II,
And the Hitler holocaust.
But the battle most tough
Is yet to be fought:
A battle with no soldiers,
And no swords to draw.
The field is not Rome,
And the enemies not the Romans.
But it indeed is a greater struggle,
Between man and the evil of his heart.

Good verse Evil

There could be a time
When good is defeated
When lights vanish from time
When the sun does not rise
There will be only night
In night there will be only darkness
And in darkness there will be only evil
There could be a time
When evil is defeated
When the dark is banished to the fiery depths of hell
There will be only happiness
People will not live in fear
The earth will be blinded in light
And in light there will be only good
But you have a choice
You can choose to fight the dark
And conquer the evil
Laughter is the best weapon against evil!
